Musculo-cutaneous nerve

Origin

Terminal branch of the lateral cord, receiving fibres from C5-C7.

Course

Exits the axilla by piercing the coracobrachialis muscle, descends between the biceps brachii and brachialis (supplying both) and continues as the lateral cutaneous nerve of the forearm.

Innervation

Muscles of the anterior compartment of the arm (biceps brachii, coracobrachialis and brachialis).

Skin of the lateral aspect of the forearm.
